Dubai Fencing Club, the UAE's Fencing Academy!

Welcome to the Dubai Fencing Club (DFC), the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the country's main academy for learning the sport of fencing, as well as developing existing fencing skills!

Established in 2002 by Mihail G. Kouzev, the club's primary objective is to promote modern fencing as an exacting and enjoyable sport for all. The club continues to be the country's central source of information on the world of fencing.

We apply the international coaching techniques of the National Sports Academy and of Prof. Krasimir Petkov, PhD. Our technique is influenced by the world-leading fencing systems that are used in the coaching of Olympic and World Champions in the various fencing weapons, mastered by V. Arkadiev, Keller, L. Seichukby and David Tyshler. This combination of the systems, mixed with the best of the Hungarian and Italian styles, makes the result that much more unique.

The DFC coaching schedule covers junior programmes (ages 7+), recreational-level programmes and competitive national and international-level programmes in the three weapons Epee , Foil and Saber .
